Future And Mean Fiddler Celebrate Classic Rock Awards With Live Shows

Legendary musicians mark Roll Of Honour event with week of gigs.

Future Publishing’s fast-growing Classic Rock continues to expand its musical influence with a series of live shows across London to celebrate its annual “Roll Of Honour” event.

The annual awards ceremony sees rock aristocracy from across the globe descend on London to celebrate the world’s greatest rock musicians and bands. To mark this major event in the musical calendar, Classic Rock is teaming up with leading concert promoter and venue owner Mean Fiddler to put on a series of shows headlined by world famous musicians at intimate venues across the capital in the first week of November.

With shows announced for Europe, Ginger Baker and Uriah Heep, further gigs will be revealed in coming weeks. Tickets for the gigs are available now and are available from www.meanfiddler.com, www.ticketweb.co.uk, www.hmv.com and in person from the Jazz Café box office from 4pm daily, with no booking fee.

Swedish hard-rock group Europe are set to play a very special show in their most exclusive gig for UK fans in over a decade. Playing the Relentless Garage on Sunday, 1st November, the 12-million-selling group will mix tracks from their eighth studio album, Last Look At Eden, with hits from their rich back catalogue. Tickets for the show cost £20.

British rock veterans Uriah Heep continue their 40th anniversary celebrations with an unmissable evening of their prog-rock tinged crowd pleasers, playing all the hits and some rarities in an up close and personal setting. They play Wednesday, November 4th at the Relentless Garage. Tickets are £18.50.

Rounding off the series of gigs in style, the legendary Ginger Baker takes to the stage at the Jazz Café on Wednesday, 4th November with some very special guests. The world’s greatest drummer will be joined by names from his stellar career for a one-off show that promises to be truly unforgettable. Tickets are £60.

Saw Cheap Trick at the Garage and the atmosphere was brilliant. What a place to see Europe. Now if you can get AC/DC in there as well, for £20! – your place on my Christmas card list is guaranteed (as long as I get a ticket)
