Faith No More have announced their intention to play their first live performances since splitting up in 1998.
The band will embark on a series of European festival dates this summer, according to a statement from frontman Mike Patton’s publicist.
However, we must stress that neither the line-up for the revived Faith No More nor the specific festival dates have yet been announced. (However, we should have firm news about a British festival appearance on Monday.)
That means, for one thing, it’s uncertain whether the band’s legendary guitarist ‘Big Sick Ugly’ Jim Martin will be involved.
Billboard has more here.

YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
wow! I like classic rock they are really great.
Guys – great news FNM have reformed. But you should have used an album that Mike Patton sang on and not Chuck Mosely as your picture!!
And Monday is also the day they announce the third headliner of Download…coincidence? I doubt it!
Whaaa!! No ‘Sir Jim Martin’ – I would be very disappointed if that was the case, still, would be worth seeing again.
Oh well, guess this means no Fantomas for a while. That sucks.
Words can’t describe how chuffed I am!!!!!
It would be fantastic if Jim Martin was there but I can’t see it myself.
Looks like I will be at Download now then!!!
OMG if it is Download I might actually go this year! There is a couple of old school metal bands playing this year and this would just make it awesome!
Outstanding Great news cant wait
