ELO Cellist Killed In Freak Accident

Former ELO cellist Mike Edwards has been killed – by a bale of hay.
Edwards, who was a member of the band from 1972-5, died when the 600kg bale hit his van while he was driving in Halwell, Devon. As a result, Edwards swerved into the path of another vehicle. He died instantly.
Edwards played on three ELO albums: ELO2, On The Third Day and El Dorado.
