Eagles Bassist Announces Solo Dates

Eagles bassist Timothy B. Schmit is to play three spring dates in the UK.
These happen at:
March 26: Manchester Academy II
March 28: Birmingham Glee Club
March 30: London Cadogan Hall.
Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday, February 12. They’re priced at £35 (Manchester and Birmingham) and £40 (London).
Schmit is promoting his album Expando, which was released last year.

Forty quid to see a bass player! Sod that.
Thought it was going to be the original Eagles bassist Randy Meisner. Too bad.
That is a lot of dough for someone that is basically unknown outside of The Eagles! Interesing to see what size of crowd he can attract at those prices.
I’ve always thought that TBS was one of the luckiest musicians ever. Doing initially just one album with The Eagles before they split then getting to do the ‘reunion tours’ which must have been one hell of an earner. Poor old Randy Meisner, enough to take you to the limit.
