Duff Drummer Quits
Drummer Geoff Reading has left Duff McKagan’s Loaded.
In an official statement, Reading says: “The pressures of being in the ‘Duff from Guns N’ Roses’ spotlight, while thrilling, have left me unable to get back to the performer I was pre-cancer, and unable properly provide for my family. This combination has plagued my mental recovery, and I need to take time now to focus on these things.”
His replacement is Isaac Carpenter, who’ll be behind the kit when the band come over to the UK, to support Black Stone Cherry. The dates are Birmingham 02 Academy October 10, Portsmouth Guildhall 14, London Hammersmith Apollo 15, Leeds 02 Academy 16, Glasgow 02 Academy 17, Newcastle 02 Academy 19, Manchester Apollo 20, Bristol 02 Academy 21, Norwich UEA 23.
