Dream Theater & Opeth Bring Progressive Nation

Dream Theater will be bringing their ‘Progressive Nation’ tour to the UK and Europe and they’re bringing some huge special guests with them.

Dream Theater, Opeth, Bigelf and Unexpect are to team up for the ‘Progressive Nation’ tour in October.

Dates are yet to be announced but Dream Theater’s Mike Portnoy (who has hand picked the bill) has said: “After the excitement of putting together two very cool PROGRESSIVE NATION packages for North America, I knew it was time to bring the concept overseas and share some of these other great bands with our amazing fans throughout Europe and the UK”.

Stay tuned to Classic Rock for all of your essential details as soon as they are announced.

Saw Opeth last friday here in sunny Ankara and they were bloody great. So DT had better be on their metal with them on the bill. Just one question. Why no ‘Porcelain Heart’?

Curious

The US leg of this is a joke. Especially the August 1st show. Queensryche is playing but they have a song where a little 10 year old girl sings. Its like American Idol or something. The DT teenybopper hot topic mallcore Slipknot loving fans are going to boo/laugh them off the stage.
