Dee Snider Gets Town Named After Him

Dee Snider is to have a whole town named after him – for a day anyway.
The Twisted Sister frontman is to be honoured by Cridersville, Ohio, which will become Snidersville on August 21. The reason? He’s bringing the March Of Dimes Bikers For Babies charity into the town. Snider is the national spokesman for the organisation, which aims to find the cause for premature birth.
Blabbermouth.net report that Snider says: “I’ve had many dreams and been lucky enough to have most of them come true, but I would never dare to dream of something like this! Having a town change its name to mine — even though it is changing only a few letters — is one of the coolest things that’s ever happened to me!”

Dee Snider and the rest of the Band , had a slap up meal in our Restaurant (Ye Olde Dolphin , Derby) last Saturday night , prior to their headlining slot at Bloodstock. What at great bunch of guys , they signed a massive poster / biilboard for us , as well as giving our lovely waitress (Caroline) back stage passes .
