Coheed And Cambria are to release new album Year Of The Black Rainbow on April 12.
Their first record since signing to the Roadrunner label, this is a prequel to their previous four albums which told an interlinked story under the generic banner of The Armory Wars.
Produced by Atticus Ross and Joe Baressi, it comes in both standard format and special edition. The latter comes with a hefty 352-page novel, written by Coheed’s Claudio Sanchez and author Peter David. Now that’s what we call a concept in the old-school tradition.
