Just heard Sonic Boom and it is fantastic!
For me it sounds like a 2009 version of Rock & Roll Over.By far the best KISS album since Creatures Of The Night!!!

HOLY HOLY HOLY COW!!! This album just seriously ROCKS. I’m blown away, can’t believe it…who would have thought it after the tragedy of Psycho Circus??? Following Revenge, that was such a disappointment but here it is over a decade later and KISS delivers the best album since, man, what…Revenge, Creatures, Destroyer? TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE. “Say Yeah” is so dang catchy. I can’t believe how fresh this sounds while also hitting on nostalgia. For once you can tell the members of KISS had fun instead of laboring. As for Tommy Thayer, well, I never accepted him as a true member until now. Granted, he’s not Kulick but he’s not shabby! As Paul sings, “Let me hear you say yeah”. YEAH!!!

Well, they even got their album title from a great Swiss Hard Rock band named SILVER DIRT who released their ”Sonic Boom” album in 2006, reviewed in CR, check ‘em out on http://www.silverdirt.com. This said, ugly cover, a massacre of the Rock’n'Roll Over cover, but i have faith in the new KISS album, since Paul is producing, and Modern Day Delilah sound great, KISS is back!

It’s a KISS Records release through Roadrunner on October 5th with bonus DVD. Maybe we’ll be getting KISS Klassics CD through the Daily Mail as we were supposed to do last Summer…
