First things first. The wee intro bits from Panic Room are excellent. I will need to investigate this group further.

I was surprised that you all agreed there was no problem crossing musical genres when you were younger - perhaps though that's why you are all music journalists. As a teenager in the late 1970's I found music to be VERY tribal. I was into rock and so could not listen to punk (and vice versa for my punk loving friends). This means I missed out on a load of great music which I had to re-discover retrospectively once I got past the spotty faced teenager stage - for instance The Clash and The Stranglers to name but two.

Apart from that (very) minor quibble, I thoroughly enjoyed the first progcast and am already looking forward to the next one.
