Classic Abbey Road Rock Gets Symphonic Treatment
If you’re in the mood for a spot of culture, then you might want to check out the American Express Symphony At The Park.
It’s part of the ongoing celebrations for the 80th anniversary of Abbery Road Studios and happens at Chiswick House in West London on Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21. On both days the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing music closely associated with the legendary studio.
On the first day, you’ll be able to hear songs from the likes of the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen, Kate Bush and Radiohead. This includes a new arrangement of Floyd’s Time, re-scored by Jaz Coleman of Killing Jokes.
The second day is devoted to film music.
