Come on in for details on how you can check out the first material to be released by Chickenfoot – the super-group that features Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony and Chad Smith.
Chickenfoot’s Myspace page is currently streaming the tracks Soap On A Rope and Down The Drain. This marks the first material that the band have released to the public.
We recently spoke exclusively to ex-Van Halen men Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony about the Chickenfoot project, while Joe Satriani also offered an update of his own last week.

Awesomeness..
Can’t wait to see these guys live…
Brilliant ,sounds fun and fresh please come to the UK
That, my friends, is the shit. If the rest of the material is as strong, this is gonna be a damn good album.
I was a little concerned Satch wouldn’t mix too well with the rest of the guys, but I have been proved very wrong.
THIS ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
why don’t send all those wimpy crappy shittie alternativenumetalpunkemogrungerap folks to a school where REAL rock music like this is teaching????
Sounds great. Michael Anthony and Chad Smith make a great rhythm section, very deep and thumping. Sammy Hagar is on superb form, and as for Jo Satriani simply stunning. Bring on that album and tour…
Absolutely perfect. This is what true music sounds like. I am glad Hagar ditched the old Halen sound with this one so it wouldn’t sound as Halen-y. This is SOO beautifully and refreshingly original.
