Garry Bushell, the renowned (some might say infamous) music journalist and TV pundit, is to have his autobiography published next September.
It will cover his years on Sounds as well as Fleet Street and TV. His PA Fit Bird says: “It will tell all, no punches pulled. Rock stars, TV stars, and former newspaper editors are advised to invest in brown trousers. Along with puffed-up, wart-encrusted photographers, no doubt.”
It’s unlikely that Michael Schenker, a regular target for Bushell in his Sounds days, will write the foreword.

Wasn’t he linked with the extreme far right when at Sounds?
I’ve actually got a Garry Bushell book, the Bizzare – column styled early biog of Maiden: ‘Running Free’. Funny as fuck. Shit as a biography, great as a collecton of amusing stories!
