Buckcherry Man Tells Aerosmith: ‘Let Me Produce You’
Buckcherry guitarist Keith Nelson wants to produce Aerosmith.
“I’d love the opportunity to work with those guys, or someone like Mötley Crüe,” he told Classic Rock.
“I reckon I could kick them up the ass, and sometimes they need it. But the chances are they’ll carry on working with people like Brendan O’Brien. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a great producer. But it would be amazing for a younger person to get in with them.”
Also on the Nelson wishlist is former Reef singer Gary Stringer.
“What an amazing voice. I always loved what he did.”
Buckcherry are hoping to come back to the UK for at least one more round of shows next year.
“The more you come over to Britain, the bigger the fan-base gets. I don’t understand American bands who come over once with any record, and then don’t build on what they’ve achieved. It’s a wasted opportunity.”

it could be good idea, as Zakk Wylde said that latest Aerosmith record were watered s***, and that right I like few songs – Angel, Rag Doll, Fallen Angeles, and almsot whole Pump, but overally Aerosmith lost a lot trying to keep with music fashion and Buckcherry is really raw and cool, Aerosmith should try with someone young maybe not Keith Nelson but… guy has a good idea, but I am still more pumped about voices talking about Jack White producing Stones record.
