Soundgarden’s reunion continues to gather momentum. Now the band are offering a free live download. So we thought it only fair to make this a special bonus Track Of The Day. Check out all recent Tracks Of The Day.
The band – Chris Cornell (vocals/guitar), Kim Thayil (lead guitar), Ben Shepherd (bass) and Matt Cameron (drums) – have gone public with a version of Spoonman, recorded live at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego on November 30, 1996.
Say Soundgarden: “On this 1996 tour we recorded all the shows on the West Coast run, to one day release as a live album. We never got around to mixing these shows until recently and we were really surprised how crazy-cool it all is!”

The band have also announced that their very first single on SubPop, Hunted Down/Nothing To Say, is being reissued on April 17 on limited edition orange seven-inch vinyl.
iv never been in SG but i have always been a fan of audioslave i hope that whenever they re-issue their cds i dont regret buying any of them cause iv only seen few vids since the 90s and never liked them, i’m just not sure why is it thats so important that they are together again
