Bon Jovi inexplicably crowned top touring act of 2008
Bon Jovi’s Lost Highway tour through North America and Europe came in just ahead of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band and grossed £128.8 million.
Springsteen’s Magic tour pulled in £125.1 million.
Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour, which is yet to finish, has so far grossed £99.4 million.
On the second leg of their reunion tour, The Police bought in £92 million.
Other top tour earners for the year include Celine Dion (£56 million), Kenny Chesney (£53 million), Neil Diamond (£49 million), Spice Girls (£43 million), Eagles (£34 million), Rascal Flatts (£34 million) and Saxon (£134.68p – only kidding, Biff).
