Big Four Head For Switzerland

The Big Four of thrash – that’s Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax – have now added a date together in Switzerland.It’s part of the Sonisphere Festival tour around Europe, and happens on June 18 at June 18 at Degenaupark in Wil/Jonschwil. Also on the bill are Motörhead and Heaven & Hell.

Still on the Metallica front, guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield has just donated to Marin County 330 acres overlooking California’s Lucas Valley for preservation as farmland. The area is located near his home.
