Every time KISS say they’re making a major announcement, with the exception of the new album, it’s a let-down.

And given that we’ve had a new album and a new tour, and we already know there’s going to be a new DVD, what else is there that’s particularly major?

Special Guests at High Voltage on the Sunday? TV show? (please, no) Another tour?

None of these things are particularly huge.

To KISS: I’ve read in several KISS forums that you Paul have said that you’re only gonna play three songs of “Sonic Boom”: “Modern Day Delilah”, “I’m An Animal” and “Say Yeah”. Personally, I’d like to hear AT LEAST five SB songs, ’cause I think it’s a GREAT album. Why not add “Russian Roulette”, “All For The Glory” and “When Lightning Strikes”? Tommy and Eric, you did such great efforts on “your” songs on the album, so you should play them live! The european tour is called “Sonic Boom Over Europe” after all!

1.You’ve been doing the ‘Classic Kiss’ songs and show from the band’s 70’s-era almost exclusively for a decade now. Does the band have any desire to delve into songs from its later, ‘post-makeup’ catalog? (80’s/90’s era )
Perhaps an unmasked, stripped-down, smaller venue ‘deep Kiss cuts’ tour for the hardcore fans who haven’t heard the band play songs from that era in over twenty years?

I’m now a forty-five year old Senior Chief, United States Navy (retired), and you are still my all time favorite band. I know that there’s always better sales of gene and paul dolls than the other two guys, but I think a lot of fans would also buy ace and peter (or better thommy and eric) items.

In advance of the full European tour, KISS will play a special one-off club show at London’s O2 Academy Islington on 2nd March 2010. With just 500 tickets available to the public, this show is a rare chance for fans to see one of the world’s biggest bands in an intimate venue.

I was just wondering if the Cobo Arena 1975 show(which was recorded  
for Alive!) will ever be released in any form?? I would love to see  
this show, as would many others, and I think it would make a great tie  
in to the Cobo Arena 2000 DVD release as a sort of “then and now”

Your merchandising is legendary in my book, never to be duplicated, but I have yet to find one item I have been looking for and it’s for my three year old daughter. Kiss coloring books. Where can I find them? If there has’nt been any produced, will there be in the future? Also, have you guys ever considered playing a show on a cruise ship at sea? Kiss is immortal!

well i reckon ill just ask in person when i see KISS next week at islington!..and to all those other people who are sayin the club gig isnt massive..of course it is, kiss playing a 500 capacity venue is amazing, i understand only to the people going to the gig..i saw def leppard play a gig there too and they came out and signed stuff and took pictures..so its a great way for the fans to meet kiss..rather than pay the £900 they are asking for their meet and greet tickets in the uk.

Hi. I’m Aidan Bean from New York State and I’m 14 years old. Been a Kiss fan since I was three (when I first saw the cover of Love Gun) and I have a pretty interesting question for you:

I’m a big fan of the 80s Kiss, ranging from Unmasked to Hot In The Shade. The early 80s albums are critically underrated (Unmasked had some strong pop-rock material!) and I understand that The Elder and Creatures of the Night were made during harsh times for the group. But Lick It Up, Animalize, Asylum, Crazy Nights, and Hot In The Shade are tremendous slabs of pop-metal. My question is: What was your favorite album released in the 80s and what was your favorite experience from the 80s because if you think about it you guys had a lot of talented material in the 1980s.

1. On the fantastic Kissology 2 dvd there was no stuf from the Animalize/Asylum-era and thre´s almost no proper video footage from the US-Asylum tour. We who started out digging Kis in 1985 woul love to see something from thatt period. Any plans of releasing something from that time?
