Anthrax cover Rush classic Anthem

Anthrax have released their cover of Rush classic Anthem. Hear it below.

It’s taken from the thrash giants’ upcoming covers EP, Anthems, which also features their take on tracks by Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Boston, Cheap Trick and Journey.

Anthrax have hired Shadows Fall guitarist Jon Donais to stand in after Rob Caggiano announced his departure from the band – and drummer Charlie Benante later admitted the news that he’d joined Volbeat made his move look “sketchy.”

They were last year nominated for a Grammy Award for Worship Music track I’m Alive, losing out to Halestorm.

Anthem is released on March 18.
