Another Velvet Revolver Audition Leaks Onto The Web
After the frontman from Canadian band Blu Bones leaked his audition for Velvet Revolver onto the internet, another audition tape has now found its way online. Come in for the full details!
Guns N’ Roses site GNR Evolution have posted the audition tapes recorded by Inanna’s Brother frontman Tony Montana. Check them out and tell us whether you think he could be the man for the job or not.
Velvet Revolver are still searching for a new singer after firing Scott Weiland in April of last year. Recent stories suggest that VR are closer to finding their man.
In other Velvet Revolver news, Music Radar are carrying a story in which Velvet Revolver’s manager categorically denies that Gord Prior, the guy from yesterday’s audition leak, is not the new singer in Velvet Revolver.

Tony Montana is in another league to any of the other auditons that I’ve heard. Personally, I think he adds something completely different to the mix that Scott never could have offered. Medlodically and lyrically, he’s a cut above from anything I’ve heard from any other potentials. Good luck to him; VR need someone like him.
From what I’ve heard, this latest guy is the best by far. His are the only versions that I found myself singing later on. Just more memorable….
