Anderson And Wakeman On The Road Together

Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman are teaming up for a 19-date tour.

Going under the name of The Anderson Wakeman Project 360, here’s all the info for the former Yes duo’s shows:

Oct. 9: Cambridge Corn Exchange

Oct. 11: Crawley Hawth

Oct. 12: Croydon Fairfield Halls

Oct. 14: Ipswich Corn Exchange

Oct. 15: Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre

Oct. 16: Tunbridge Wells Assembly Hall

Oct. 19: Liverpool Philharmonic

Oct. 21: Wolverhampton Civic Hall

Oct. 22: Basingstoke Anvil

Oct. 24: Leeds Grand Theatre

Oct. 25: Buxton Opera House

Oct. 29: Poole Lighthouse

Oct. 30: St. Albans Arena

Nov. 1: Bristol Colston Hall

Nov. 2: Southend Cliffs Pavilion

Nov. 6: Edinburgh Playhouse

Nov. 7: Perth Concert Hall

Nov. 8: Gateshead Sage

Nov. 11: Manchester Palace Theatre

Says Wakeman:

“There will be some new music in the shows as well which Jon and I are currently putting together. It is planned to both film and record the shows, but a prior filming and recording will take place live, shortly before the official tour starts for which tickets will go on sale around August once all the technicalities have been ironed out.”

No offence to Squire and co., but this could be more Yes than Yes! Replacing Anderson was not the best idea. This is great news, thanks.

Fingers crossed for US shows!

This will be far better than the current Yes line up. As far as I’m concerned, the band ceased to exist when Anderson departed.
