Alice in Chains’ fan-powered video for Hollow

Alice in Chains have released a lyric video for new track Hollow. View it below.

The promo was made from Instagram images submitted by fans, and the song will appear on the band’s fifth album, which Jerry Cantrell recently said had been completed.

The guitarist told Revolver: “It’s got all the elements of any record we’ve put out, but it’s unlike any record we’ve put out. Basically, it’s the next chapter in the Alice in Chains book, and it’s going to be a big one.”

Instagram, owned by Facebook, caused upset this week by changing its user agreement in a move that appeared to allow the firm to sell people’s photos without asking them, and without sharing the profits. But bosses say it was a misunderstanding, caused by a “confusing” choice of words in the new agreement. They’re working on a new version.
