Alice Cooper Names New Album

Alice Cooper has already started work on a new album – and he has a title for it.

The Coop revealed during his weekly radio show on Planet Rock that the record is to be titled The Night Shift. And he has 10 demos ready.

Alice teams up with Rob Zombie next month for a limited number of shows in North America. He also plays the Sonisphere Festival, happening at Knebworth Park from July 30 to August 1.

Hope it’s a return to the Dirty Diamonds/Eyes of Alice sound. Don’t want another Along Came a Spider!

Yea, love your music alice!

it would be nice if alice would do a cd with michael, dennis and neal. his last few have been boring.

Coverdale

pants officially creamed!

Bloody hell?!! Does Alice have more hours in his day than the rest of us?! World tours, golf, albums every 2nd year, golf, radio shows, golf, adverts, golf, Grammy appearances, golf etc. The man’s a miracle! Long live the ‘Coop!

i hope this is a killer cd
i love hey stoopid

Let me guess, when reviewing this will Classic Rock state it as a return to form? They seem to do that with any album a classic artist releases these days.

I hope it sounds nothing like the Dirty Diamonds & Eyes of Alice Cooper albums. The horrible bee in a jam jar guitar sound on them totally ruined the songs.

I hope it really is a success for him. After all he makes great music, and is more underrated than most. Along Came a SPider was his best in years but, let hope this does awesomely.

hope its a trash sort of album as he was at hes best during the trash era

The Coop has never really made a bad album ! Having met my hero twice on VIP packages you couldn’t meet a nicer guy – can’t wait for the new album no matter what style he follows – hope it’s in the ilk of Love It To Death /Killer / From The Inside but hey who cares !!!

rocking robbo

welcome to my nightmare, goes to hell, from the inside, all made the alice show what it is today, none of his albums in the last 20 years could have produced the same effects.Ive seen alice 19 times but these poppy rock stuff he’s comming up with is barely recognisable as the master. Please alice give us something we can still be playing 20 years from now,not put away in a draw and forget its there!

Agent Robbo

Great news. All of his recent albums have been quality but especially when he’s showcasing his diversity and humour, ala ‘The Ballad of Jesse Jane’.

Waiting with baited breath….

Love the fact that he has the balls to keep releasing albums every few years and seems to tour constantly. Have seen him 3 times in the last 6 years and he has never dissapointed.

When he finally retires he’ll leave a massive body of work for people to explore and enjoy for years to come…..

He’s never released a bad album? You’ve not heard Special Forces or Zipper Catches Skin then obviously.
