what a loser. an honour to be thought good enough for Aerosmith? Rocky doesnt seem to get the suggestion of him and half the people on the list is a joke. some people are just plain slow whitted

IT WAS A TREMENDOUS HONOUR TO BE THOUGHT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE EVEN USED IN THE SAME SENTENCE AS ROCK GODS SUPREMOS AEROSMITH, BUT I AGREE WITH THE MAJORITY OF AEROSMITH FANS TAKE A LESSON FROM THE VAN HALEN SCENARIO……LEAVE WELL ALONE……ANY NEWCOMER WOULD BE TREATED AS AN UNDERLING AND NEVER ACCEPTED 100% SO LET IT GO AND R.I.P.

Well, as much as Rocky Shades is a great singer, I dont think he would fit the clean living Aerosmith lifestyle.

Saw him in the bar at the NEC after the Titans of Tribute show (where he did a great gig with Yankee Rose) – and Rocky enjoys a good drink or 5.

If David Lee Roth had not rejoined Van Halen he would of been great as well.

Any replacement would be a disaster and end up an embarrassment to the one who tries to fill Steven Tyler’s shoes. Steven Tyler and Joe Perry have a permanent finger print in rock-n roll history with Aerosmith. No one can replace either one.

Gary Cherone – please no! How about Neill Byrnes from Draw the Line? perfect choice! That tribute band is even endorsed by Aerosmith. Rocky shades? is that a real person? never heard of him. jani lane did a great job on an aerosmith tribute cd and so did jack russell
