AC/DC Make Fortune On Tour

AC/DC have finally ended their massive Black Ice world tour, and it’s having achieved the second highest grossing tour in history.

The band played 168 shows to 4.9 million people, grossing $441.6 million. Only The Rolling Stones, on the A Bigger Bang Tour from 2005-7, have made more money on the road. That brought in $558.1 million.

Brian Johnson will be able to buy a few more cars for his collection.

Come on come listen to the Money Talks. Well done lads you are an incredible rock n roll band and this proves that rock music is alive and well.

Nice one lads! it was a great gig at Wembley last year. Glad you’re doing so well. Mine’s a pint and don’t leave it so long for the next album and tour.

Belford

Sounds like AC/DC to me…

I’m a ‘DC fanatic till the day I die, but I’ve gotta agree with Belford… Nice one.

John Bethel

Thats not true!! They dropped Anything Goes and added High Voltage for Download!!!

OK admittedly, not the most radical of set list changes… but well they were f*cking awesome anyway

Gaffers

Me too, I saw them in Barcelona then at Download 0 changes :( I’m still a huge fan….just a huge disappointed one :/

Nigel Thomas

i went to Donnington especially to see them as i though that maybe they would announce their retirement and it would be my last chance to see them. no such luck.
i ended up remembering, them crooked vultures, slash, and Airbourne more.
yes it was an ok performance, but to me brian johnsons voice is going and Angus is beginning to remind me of an old silent movie comedian the way he moves.
AND YES, I know i have just committed blasphemy.

And why do they never play ‘Sin City’ or anything from Powerage?

si butcher

saw the boys at lg arena & wembley stadium on this tour. Why don’t you people wind ya bloody necks in & be grateful you’ve seen the greatest rock n roll band ever to grace the planet. if it aint bust why try to fix it

david walters

Well, Black Ice is the second best Johnson cd…not bad at such an age. SO popular with so many ages. The 10 year olds in the classes I teach LOVE ACDC, and firstley cant believe they are that age, and secondly…don’t care!! Excellent.

$441.6 mil !!! Go on boys, Get another album in, i can see it now…..AC/DC “OLD BALLS TOUR 2013″ LOL na just joking they’re STILL the greatest rock band ever, saw them at Hampden park then at Donington. Get your money on a 40th anniversary tour in 2013 people. ~Ride on~

Since Bon is not with us anymore, I can understand why then didn’t play anything from Powerage. But I think they should do a culmination of every album the did with Brian. Send for the Man would be fucking fantastic live.
