AC/DC and Judas Priest were both winners at the Grammy Awards last night (January 31). It’s the first time either has won a Grammy.
AC/DC picked up the prize for ‘Best Hard Rock Performance’ (for War Machine, from the Black Ice album), while Priest won ‘Best Metal Performance’ (for Dissident Aggressor, from the A Touch Of Evil Live album).
There was an unusually good set of results from the rock fraternity at this year’s ceremony.
Other winners included Green Day (‘Best Rock Album’ – 21st Century Breakdown), Kings Of Leon (‘Record Of The Year’ – Use Somebody), Bruce Springsteen (‘Best Rock Solo Performance’ – Working On A Dream) and Jeff Beck (‘Best Rock Instrumental Performance’ – A Day In The Life).

Go DC and Priest, cant believe DC lost out to green day on Best Rock Album!
Well done the mighty Priest! Touch Of Evil is a cracking live album and Dissident Aggressor is just a phenomenal metal song full stop.
So what about your boy Slash’s performance? Not mentioning it?
