‘Southern-Fried Chickenfoot, Sir?’ Hagar Opens Local Restaurant

Sammy Hagar is getting involved with a new restaurant in his home town of Mill Valley.
The Chickenfoot frontman and business partner Tyler Florence, of the Food Network, have taken over the upmarket El Pasoe, previously a French restaurant owned by a Japanese company. This closed a few days ago.
The pair intend to re-open this in December, as an American tavern. It will serve only food prepared with ingredients from Marin County, in the Bay Area of San Francisco, which is where Mill Valley is located.
