Hi Mick .I'm a Scandinavian fan of Heep and lived in London area for the last 15 years .I only recently found Classic rock magazine and your column -great stuff! I started with Magicians Birthday ,was 10 yrs old 1973 - boy what an imprint it left alongside the subsequent albums ;-) Heep and Purple ( Ian G) have always been right up there on top for me -though there has been periods where I haven't followed intesely due to family etc etc
I missed your last UK gigs badly ,sorry if it 's obvious but when are you playing again in UK ?

Cheers

Hey Mick, what a fantastic gig in Athens that was! I have seen the Heep live many times but I think that was the one I enjoyed the most! The band was superb from start to end and I am glad you admit we are the loudest audience! I was in England for a while a few years ago and I was shocked to find out that bands like Thin Lizzy and Status Quo were much more popular than Uriah Heep. Well, this is definitely not the case in Greece, Uriah Heep is a legend over here and I guess you must have understood that by now!

We are gratefull to all of you Mick. The concert was mindblowing!!!! We would be such an audience even if you were playing in Athens every month!!!! If you ever play Sympathy in Athens we will knock the whole venue down (no kidding) as it is a greek favorite. I am glad you liked our singing skills, we are good aren't we?!
All the best and come back soon!!!!!!!
Don't worry about the Spurs my girlfriend supports Middlesbrough!!!
