Blues-based hard-rock hopes Voodoo Vegas have just announced a few more live shows in the run-up to the release of debut album The Rise of Jimmy Silver.
Next chances to catch the band in action are:
Fri 25th Jan – POOLE, Mr Kyps
Fri 1st Feb – ANDOVER, The Lights Arena
Fri 8th Feb – LONDON, Camden Barfly
Fri 22nd Feb – LONDON, Boston Music Room
Fri 1st March – BOURNEMOUTH, On The Rocks (Rock-Regeneration.co.uk 2nd b’day bash)
Sat 2nd March – ANDOVER, The Geroge
The Rise of Jimmy Silver will be released on March 4 via Cargo. Recorded with renowned producer Pedro Ferreira (The Darkness, Queen, Tokyo Dragons etc), the album was funded via a highly successful PledgeMusic.com campaign which saw the Bournemouth boys and girl raise 344 per cent of their original target.
Equal parts high-octane hard rock and heartfelt blues sounds, the album introduces a new vocal talent in frontman Lawrence Case (whose Axl-esque range earned him an invite to join Gilby Clarke onstage during the ex-GN”R man’s last UK tour), while versatile six-stringers Meryl Hamilton and Nick Brown deliver duelling solos and tip-top acoustic slide sounds with equal ability.
The video for lead track King Without A Crown offers a taste of Voodoo Vegas’ explosive live show. Watch it below.
