Anti Tank Nun, the Polish band created by Tomek ‘Titus’ Pukacki (vocalist and bass guitarist of Acid Drinkers) and phenomenal 15-year-old guitar prodigy Igor ‘Iggy’ Gwadera, are currently working on material for their second studio album, Fire Follow Me.
Anti Tank Nun caused a bit of a stir in their home country last year with the release of their debut album, Hang ‘Em High. They’re promising their new material will be more melodic and mature, and they’re set to enter the studio to record the follow-up next month.
Check out the video below for Anti Tank Nun’s track Devil Walks, taken from their debut. The song is at the very heaviest end of the Classic Rock spectrum, for sure. Even so, we’re particularly taken by Pukacki’s charismatic appearance (imagine a cadaverous, dark-haired Dee Snider), not to mention his remarkable death grunts* at the beginning – Tom G Warrior eat your heart out.
* Perhaps “phlegm grunts” would be more appropriate.
