Video: Metallica and more in 25-minute Machine Head tribute album preview

Highway Lars: Ulrich talks (and talks) about Metallica's cover of When A Blind Man Cries

Following our posting yesterday of a clip of Joe Bonamassa and Jimmy Barnes in the studio recording Lazy, a brand new behind-the-scenes video for the upcoming Deep Purple Machine Head tribute album has emerged.

This vid lasts an epic 25 minutes and features studio footage and interviews with Metallica, Jimmy Barnes, Chickenfoot, Steve Lukather, Glenn Hughes and tons more of the musicians involved.

Metalli-drummer Lars Ulrich says: “I have a list of songs in my head that Metallica should play before we split up our die… and When A Blind Man Cries has always been one of them.”
