A video preview of the new Deep Purple Machine Head tribute album has been released, featuring Joe Bonamassa and Jimmy Barnes in the studio recording Lazy.
Says Bonamassa: “That song was very challenging – I was sweating like I was at a normal concert gig.”
Barnes adds: “I’m a huge Deep Purple fan. As a young kid, one of the reasons I wanted to get into a rock’n’roll band was to be as loud as Purple.”
Re-Machined: A Tribute To Machine Head is a compilation CD featuring re-interpretations of Deep Purple’s iconic 1972 album with songs recorded by Metallica, Iron Maiden, Chickenfoot, Black Label Society and many more.
