Video Premiere: Trans-Siberian Orchestra at Brandenburg Gate
Trans-Siberian Orchestra have released a video detailing their appearance at Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate on New Year’s Eve – view the premiere below.
The spectacular performance topped off a daring feat in which TSO played three shows across two continents in 27 hours, appearing before more than a million fans.
The band delivered two sets in Buffalo, New York earlier on December 30 before flying to Germany for their televised performance at the iconic gateway.
Mastermind Paul O’Neill says the event included “one ocean, thousands of miles, countless border crossings, countless cups of coffee – and all of it as we were flying east against the clock. Since everybody said it was impossible to do, we said, ‘We have to do it.’”
Trans-Siberian Orchestra – who released their first compilation album in November, followed by a single entitled Sarajevo 12/24 last month – play two shows in England this week as part of their European Winter Tour. Catch them at Manchester’s O2 Apollo on January 10 and London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on January 11.
