Video: The 69 Eyes see Red

The 69 Eyes have released a video for their track Red, taken from new album X, which is released on September 28. View it below.

The promo is introduced by Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, fulfilling a life-long dream of frontman Jyrki 69.

He says: “I was a member of the Elvira fan club ever since I saw her on the cover of Fangoria in the mid-80s. I had a life-size poster of her in the black lingerie in a coffin on my wall for years. I feel like the 69 Eyes made it – Elvira’s supporting us!”

The Red video was shot in a mansion outside Gothenburg and celebrates the “evil beauty” of Elvira and her co-stars – on which, says Jyrki, the band’s music is based.
