Stone Sour have released RU486, another track from upcoming album House of Gold and Bones Part 1. Hear it below.

Last week the band launched a video for their track Gone Sovereign, and announced Johny Chow as bassist Shawn Economaki’s permanent replacement. Bass tracks on the albums were laid down by Skid Row’s Rachel Bolan.

Meanwhile, frontman Corey Taylor has confirmed rumours of a comic book series based on the House of Gold and Bones concept. He’s tying up with Dark Horse and illustrator Jason Shawn Alexander for the work, of which he says: “I’ve been a diehard fan of comics my entire life. It’s been a dream of mine for years, and this project was tailor-made for a comic – no pun intended.”

Stone Sour play London’s Brixton Academy on December 10 and 11 with Papa Roach; followed by Manchester Apollo on December 13, Wolverhampton Civic Hall on December 14 and Bournemouth Academy on December 15.

House of Gold and Bones Part 1 is released on October 22, with Part 2 due out early next year.
