Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds No Who U R

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have released a video for their single We No Who U R, from upcoming album Push The Sky Away. View it below.

The clip was created by Argentinian director Gaspar Noe, and Cave describes it as “beautiful, haunting and thoughtful.”

He adds of the album: “If I were to use that threadbare metaphor of albums being like children, then Push The Sky Away is the ghost-baby in the incubator and Warren Ellis’ loops are its tiny, trembling heartbeat.”

He says the music wouldn’t happen without his bandmates, explaining: “I enter the studio with a handful of ideas, unformed and pupal. It’s the Bad Seeds that transform them into things of wonder. Ask anyone who has seen them at work – they are unlike any other band on earth for pure, instinctive inventiveness.”

Push The Sky Away is released on February 18 with several limited-edition formats available.
