Neal Schon reveals his Calling

Neal Schon has released a video for The Calling, the title track from his latest solo album. View it below.

The instrumental project saw him reuniting with former Journey drummer Steve Smith, with keyboard wizard Jan Hammer also contributing.

Schon, who recently stopped a Journey show to propose to his girlfriend on stage, describes the album as “an interesting mix.” He wants listeners to look out for the “different flavours and colours,” pointing out that despite lacking vocals, his work features a great deal of melody.

The Calling is released tomorrow (October 22).
