Voted by CR readers as the Best New Band of 2011, Vintage Trouble may have made some in-roads in the UK (supporting Jovi, appearing on Jools), but the US is still there to be cracked. Blues Hand Me Down came out last year in the UK (where album The Bomb Shelter Sessions went to 47 in the albums chart), but the single has just been released in the US where the band are better known for their powerful friends (they were wedding band at Gene Simmons marriage last year and played Paul Stanley’s 60th birthday this year) than their blazing rock’n'soul.
