Music: Two tracks from Joey Ramone’s posthumous album

Hey-ho legs go…

Henry Rollins is worried that a posthumous Joey Ramone album will dilute the late frontman’s legend.

Tracks: Joey Ramone – Rock’N'Roll Is The Answer / New York City

File under: brudder, where art thou?

Legendary Ramones singer Joey Ramone may have died in 2001, but he left behind a ton of demos and incomplete songs.

His brother Mickey Leigh took it upon himself to assemble a posthumous collection of unreleased tunes that Joey recorded over the last 15 years of his life. The result, an album called …Ya Know?, is out now.

As we reported, Henry Rollins has his doubts about the release, saying: “I wonder if this record really needed to be released, despite how many of us miss Joey.”

…And as a bonus, here’s another track from Joey called New York City.
