Music: T&N go Into The Fire

T&N

T&N, the Dokken offshoot band featuring George Lynch, Jeff Pilson and Mick Brown, have released the track Into The Fire from their album Slave To The Empire. Hear it below.

The record features eight new tracks plus four Dokken classics with vocals delivered by guest performers: Doug Pinnick on Tooth And Nail, Robert Mason on It’s Not Love, Sebastian Bach on Alone Again and Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens on Kiss Of Death.

Bassist Pilson doesn’t see T&N as any kind of threat to Dokken’s legacy. He recently said: “Don is, and will always be, an invaluable part of the Dokken chemistry. No one ever wants to take that away or dispute it one iota. But the three of us do have time tested amazing chemistry, and because we were writers on these songs, I feel we have a lot to express. If anything I think this will be a show of respect for Don, not some kind of competition.”

Dokken – who’s currently working on an acoustic project with Michael Schenker – has said he’d like to do one more album with the original band with the exception of guitarist Lynch. “George continues to talk negative about me,” reported the singer. “I have no desire to play with someone that is emotionally unstable and full of hate. His day is over.”
