If you’re a regular round these parts you may already have picked up/downloaded Bad Pills by London rockers Zodiac N Black as it was Track Of The Day back in March. Well now it’s a single, out on September 24th, with a too-cool-for-a-swimming-pool-in-Hartlepool video to go with it. All of which is designed to pave the way for the full release of their debut album The Aftermyth on October 29th and UK tour dates with Warrior Soul.
The album is mixed by Alex Newport (The Mars Volta, Sepultura, The Melvins, Fudge Tunnel) and they say it’s “a culmination of influences including sprawling, looser Cream style grooves, cleaner, fresher contemporary rock and more weighty, dirt trodden grunge”. That’s what THEY say – the question is, what do YOU think?
