Metallica have released a two-minute promo clip for their upcoming live DVD Quebec Magnetic. View it below.

The band will release the 25-track performance, recorded over two nights, early next month. It’s the first release on their own label, having completed contractual obligations with their former corporation. That means they’ve been able to set their own “Metallica fan-friendly” price for the release. They assembled the setlist via a fan poll on their website.

Former bassist Jason Newsted, who left the band during their troubled Some Kind of Monster era, last week announced he was ready to resume a full-scale public career after taking 12 years to “come back to earth.”
