Sacked Queensryche singer Geoff Tate has released Take A Bullet, the second track from his upcoming solo album Kings and Thieves. Hear it below.

He’s set to tour the US supporting Alice Cooper, ahead of beginning work with his own version of Queensryche, featuring former members of Megadeth, Quiet Riot and Ratt.

In the continuing legal battles with his former bandmates, Tate recently alleged they’d conspired to get rid of him nearly a year before replacing him with Todd La Torre, by asking touring member Jason Saunders.

Meanwhile, the singer has been forced to cancel his planned appearance at the Rock Off Concert Cruise in New York tomorrow. He says: “Until Saturday if you send your proof of ticket purchase to miranda@geofftate.com we will send you an autographed poster for the inconvenience.”
