Rising-star rock, soul and blues guitarist Gary Clark Jr has released a video for his track Ain’t Messin’ Round. View it below.
It’s taken from his debut album Blak And Blu, due out on February 25 next year.
Clark has already gained critical acclaim – Classic Rock said: “His handsome looks and quietly self-possessed attitude makes him a natural focal point on the stage. Meanwhile, his guitar playing makes it clear why he’s recently been sharing stages with the likes of Eric Clapton.”
He’s been playing since the age of 12 and made such an impression that the city of Austin, Texas, held a Gary Clark Jr Day in his honour while he was still in his teens. Since 2007 he’s won the titles of best blues artist and rock guitarist at the Austin Music Awards every year.
Comparison have been made with Slowhand, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Ray Vaughan – but decide for yourself.
