Classic Rock is proud to premiere the latest Soundgarden track story video. View it below.
In the clip, singer Chris Cornell discusses the inspiration behind the song Bones of Birds, revealing it’s about his fears as a parent of his children losing their innocence.
He says: “It’s a little dark. When children learn about the real world it’s never a good thing. It’s the stress I feel about it – it’s going to happen.”
King Animal is released on November 12 and it’s available to pre-order now. The band have previously discussed the tracks Been Away Too Long and By Crooked Steps, also below.
On November 9 Soundgarden will return to the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire – 18 years to the day since they became the first-ever band to play the venue. Tickets go on sale on October 26.
