Plant: remembering Jim Capaldi
Classic Rock‘s Kylie Olsson recently talked to Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant at the launch of Mr Fantasy, The Lyrics of Jim Capaldi, a new edition of the book celebrating the work of Traffic and its late drummer, poet and founder member: Jim Capaldi.
Listen to the interview with Percy below, where the frontman reveals his fond memories of Capaldi, who died in 2005.
“There was a carefree, poignant nature to what he was singing about – he had the spark,” Robert reveals.
Plant also talks about his plans for the future with a combo called the Sensational Spaceshifters.

Each copy is individually signed by Aninha Capaldi (Jim’s wife) and by Robert Plant and Steve Winwood.
