Classic Rock’s Top 10 Olympics theme tunes

Muse have been chosen to provide the official song for the London 2012 Olympics.

The track, Survival, will be revealed on BBC Radio 1 tonight (Wednesday, June 27) and available for download on iTunes from 8pm.

The song was written specifically for the Games.

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy said: “It’s a huge honour to have the track chosen as such a major part of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

“I wrote it with the Games in mind as it expresses a sense of conviction and determination to win.”
